The Emergency Mobile Opioid Team in Everett (EMOTE) is a peer-centered street medicine initiative designed to bring addiction and mental health care directly to Everett residents experiencing homelessness or other significant barriers to accessing traditional treatment.
EMOTE’s core team is composed of Certified Peer Counselors and a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), supported by medical prescribers at CONQUER Clinics and through on-demand or scheduled telehealth visits. Operating from a four-seater van, the team meets people where they are—physically and emotionally—to provide immediate support, social services, medication initiation, and connection to detox, residential treatment, or outpatient care.
EMOTE exists to deliver compassionate, judgment-free care for conditions that are often underserved—especially for those without stable housing. Our team members have personal lived experience with addiction, homelessness, and incarceration, and are actively engaged in local recovery communities.
