My reason for chossing a space realted topic.
I chose to do something space related is because ever since I was a kid I have always really loved the stars and the moon. Once I was in school and we first started learning about space i was real intrigued and wanted to learn more. I would watch vidoes on youtube that would talk about space facts or hypotheticals on what it would be like to live on another planet.
I recently watched the movie Interstellar for the first time. The thought of traveling through space in hopes to find another planet that would be sutiable enough for humanity to live on is a really cool idea to me. I thought the movie was good but definately over hyped. It was good but not amazing. I've seen better.
When it came to thinking about a topic for the last sbp of the year I was kind of stuck on what to choose. I wanted to do something where i would feel like I'm learning a good amount of something new but I didn't want to do something as boring as a basic research paper, even though I know and feel like it would have maybe been a better option because I can show everything that I learned in an easier way, and maybe i would have had more time to do more reasearch.
I feel like I got distracted by thinking of ways to write my story and what I should and should not include.

Space facts
Mars is 225km from Earth (the same distance in the story) but the distance can change depending on the orbit of the planets.
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune may have a large amount of water, and their moons and rings have substantial water.
A Venus day is approximately 243 Earth days long. The bad
news is we would have to wait up to three Earth years for a
weekend. That’s because a day on Venus is longer than its
year!
More than 1,300 Earths would fit into Jupiter.
There's a possibility of one of Saturn's moons having key ingredients for life. “The discovery of hydrogen cyanide was particularly exciting, because it’s the starting point for most theories on the origin of life,”
