To complete these tasks you will need to log on to Music First.
Mixing up the Patterns and Rhythms and the Notes!
Composition Task 1. Use O-Generator to create looping groove that is 12 bars long.
Be creative by making 4 bars in the middle change to a different vibe so that you make an 'ABA' form.
Record your voice over your beat.
Composition Task 2. Use Sound Trap to create a Drum and Bass groove in an ABA form. To do this you will need idea A, then create a new idea 'B', then copy and paste your original idea 'A' again. Use at least three instruments in your groove.
Composition Task 3. Using Note flight to edit a Theme by adding 3-5 Variations. Use the Hot Cross Buns or Twinkle Twinkle Little star template. Create a Theme and Variations composition.

Think about the composition's you created. Use Music terminology to describe the Rhythmic elements of your composition.
Which musical contrasts formed a part of your composition and how successfully were they combined?
What new musical ideas did you contribute to the composition?
How successfully were your ideas combined with the musical ideas of the other members of your group?
What can you do next time to make the composition better? Which things are you beginning, developing and master?
Thinking about the different elements of music, what improvements could you have made to your musical ideas?
