Who can register with SAS?
Students with documented disabilities of either permanent or temporary nature (ADHD, ASD, depression, anxiety, broken bone) can register with SAS by submitting the required documentation to sasdocuments@concordia.ab.ca
What is the role of the instructor?
The duty to accommodate mandate involves CUE, students, and faculty. It is a shared responsibility. As an instructor, you are expected to honour the accommodations set up by the SAS Office, sign all the SAS forms through Faculty Online Services, confirm exam dates, and provide the SAS Exam Administrator with a copy of the exam (when a SAS student submits a request to write with SAS support). Finally, if there are any questions and/or concerns about student accommodations, please reach out to the SAS Advisor at sas@concordia.ab.ca. For questions about SAS exams, please email our SAS Exam Administrator at sas@concordia.ab.ca.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
We do not provide letters to professors. Up-to-date lists of student accommodation details are available on the class listings page in Faculty online services. You can view details for each of your classes by clicking the “View” link under the “Learning Accommodations” column.
It is critical that you approve or deny any exam schedule requests as soon as possible so that we can schedule the testing centre and secure proctors.
It is imperative that you provide us the exam file at least 3 days prior to the exam. If we do not receive the exam in a timely manner, the student may have to write with the rest of the class.
