The mandate of LAS is to work with students and instructors to identify and remove barriers that prevent students with documented disabilities from achieving their full academic potential. This entails: educating students, faculty, and staff about learning accommodations, inclusion, and universal learning design; ensuring that students are able to access their learning accommodations; and that they are receiving the support they require.
