CCA students who participate in the Early College - DualEnroll Program may have the opportunity to benefit from a PTK transfer scholarship at participating schools. Please check with your specific institution to confirm the scholarship requirements and availability. (If you qualify and this membership is beneficial to you, it is recommended to join promptly, as it may take several weeks to receive your membership packet.)

Common App is a non-profit membership organization that supports all students, and those who support them, through the college admission process.
Upon creating an account, CCA students should select the following Recommender Types: A student applicant must invite their Common App recommenders before a recommender is able to upload forms and comment on the student's behalf.
Counselor - Mrs. Spurr (submit transcript and academic history)
Advisor - Mrs. Owens (track your Admissions progress)
Teachers - Selected Individuals (provide information about you in the context of their classroom. They have firsthand knowledge of your intellectual curiosity, creative thought, and writing quality. They can also contextualize your class behavior and work habits.)
Asking for a letter of recommendation: Before inviting a recommender in your application, it’s important to ask if they are willing to provide a recommendation first. It’s best to ask in person, but an email is ok too. When asking, be respectful of your recommenders’ time. You should ask for a letter of recommendation at least three weeks in advance of a deadline. The more advance notice you give, the more time they have to craft a well-written letter. Click HERE for the Teacher Recommendation Request.
