Golden tickets are given to students "caught being good".
Earning 5 tickets allows students to be added to the raffle where 1-2 students from each grade level will be randomly chosen for weekly prize(s).
Scholar Dollars are given to students seen/shown great effort or performance
Students earn scholar dollars for performing at their best on class assignments, assessments, group activities, and classroom participation. Each week, students may spend the dollars on prizes in varying amounts.
At our school, students can earn Scholar Dollars through their hard work and dedication in the classroom. Students are recognized for their commitment to learning, whether it’s active participation, showing effort, improving grades, demonstrating growth, or going above and beyond expectations.
They can save and spend their Scholar Dollars at our Scholar Dollar Store, where they’ll find fun prizes, school supplies, and other cool rewards. It’s our way of celebrating their achievements and encouraging a strong work ethic, responsibility, and a love for learning!
At our school, PBIS helps create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. When students feel connected and celebrated for their efforts—including showing up every day—they're more likely to attend regularly. Through encouragement, recognition, and early support when needed, PBIS helps us build strong habits and strong relationships that keep students coming back, ready to succeed.
