Welcome Students, Parents and Community Stakeholders. This website will disseminate information relevant students academic, socio/emotional and college and career journey at Compton High School.

Services will be provided in person, as well as virtually.

HS Course Advisement and Graduation Requirements: Review courses, A-G requirements for High School graduation and recommendations to be college and career ready.

College Access Program Services: Counselors provide support and assistance with admissions and supplemental applications to programs and services that will further develop student college post secondary options.

College Fair: Every fall Compton HS organizes a college admissions day and recruitment fair with representatives from local and out-of-state universities.

Virtual and In Person Workshops: Presentations on a variety of topics including Introduction to High School, Transcript Evaluation, Body Image, Stress Management, Red Ribbon, Mental Health, College and Career workshops available throughout the year.

All students will graduate from Compton High School as compassionate citizens who contribute to the betterment of society, are college and career-ready, empowered to compete and succeed in the increasingly demanding 21st century, and make positive contributions to society.


Our mission is to prepare all students to become effective communicators, critical thinkers and self-directed adults. Our mission is to provide all students equitable access to a comprehensive school counseling program that uses data-driven practices to ensure every student will acquire the academic, career, and personal/social skills to reach their full potential and be productive contributing citizens.
