Flows of Life: Immigrants and Refugees in Search of an Identity
Mobility 22nd/27th January 2023
On 27th January Italian students went and visited the Central Cemetery of Vienna. A typical place to go for Vieneese inhabitants, a bit strange for us. But interesting! Tehy admired the monumental church of San Carlo in deco style, with references to various religions of the world and walked along the paths to find out some extravagant and particular tombs and those of famous musicians such as Falco (here, a true legend), Beethoven, Strauss...with crows croaking around.
On their way to the airport, they found out some stumbling stones right near the hotel: a topic they have just worked about before leaving fot the mobility: teachers are proud of them!
Finally, at home - very tired, but satisfied!

On 26th January students discovered Vienna as a city of chocolate and its imperial era. At the Schoko Museum they were introduced to the history of cocoa and its processing, from very bitter material to the sweetness known in the world. And made their personal version of the Pischinger cake. In the afternoon they visited the Schoenbrunn Palace to admire the imperial Habsburg splendor and to discover historical facts and curiosities about Maria Teresa, Francesco Giuseppe, Sissi. Under the snow, they reached a typical Gasthaus to enjoy a traditional Viennese dinner
