On 22nd March 2022 Italian students met again and worked on activities we are going to share with our partners during our first (virtual) mobility next May. The topic of the event is "myths and legends".
First of all pupils create their own avatar with Pixton application for a special game they are preparing for partners.
Since the topic of the first virtual mobility to Italy is "myths and legends", students study local legends in order to present them to the partners: read Local Legends here!
Then students use ToonyTool or StoryboardThat to create cartoons:
Manigunda monastery
Saint Imerio and Gemolo legend
On March 3rd Italian student worked on the reasons why people migrate and reflected upon the MIGRATION: is it a volountary or a forced action? Which is the main reasons to migrate? How do people feel when they migrate? To understand better they listen to live testimonies through videos.

The fourth online meeting took place on 8th February: students reflected upon suitcases: what is the difference between a holiday bag and a get-away bag? How would I feel if I had to flee without my family members?
Here you can find their reflections on the topic:

On the same day Italian students discovered their culinary traditions and worked on Canva to present a few of the most famous typical recipes of our beautiful Nation. Stay tuned to discover their final work (to be uploaded soon)
On 25th January 2022 Italian students met again online. They worked on their past: they interviewed their relatives up to their grandparents asking them about the migratory movements of their families: then fulfilled a special form to put on (digital) paper their origins.
After that they worked on a shared Google Presentation: they chose an Italian or an European map or a planisphere to visualize their own families migratory movements.
The second online meeting in Italy is on 11th January 2022: students watched a video and reflected upon it. The main characters are bears, but pupils understood the parallel with human migrations as well as their good and bad implications.

After that, they worked creating a brainstorming on the topic and later a WordArt with words related to the video and to migrations.
Finally on 21st December 2021 the group of students selected to take part of our project "Flows of Life. Refugees in Search of an Identity" meet online for the first time after the boom of the sanitary emergency and begin working on the project!
As they come from different classes, they can't work in presence at school but they meet online from their own home. They introduced themselves fulfilling a Google presentation with pictures and info about themselves: nice to meet you!
The first activity of Italian students is to prepare a shared presentation of themselves:
