Meet Kronos!
Meet Kronos!
Kronos is the great uncle of the 7 sisters (Pleiades) and is the Titan of Time. This season, Decode, presented by RTX, challenged our robot to navigate through the field picking up artifacts (5-inch wiffle balls), then at two of the corners of the field, launch them into pyramids (goals), about 3ft tall. Kronos includes an intake, sorting system, and flywheel launching system using a Limelight as a camera for scanning the AprilTags that tell us the motif pattern. (Motif pattern is the pattern that is randomly selected at the beginning of the game and will give you extra points and ranking points.) As part of the competition, FIRST encourages us to show Gracious Professionalism for all the teams to uphold!
