Rules
Eligibility: Any licensed Compass real estate agent can participate in the Back to Basics Challenge (the “Challenge”). Your participation in the Challenge confirms your agreement to be bound by these rules. You officially enter the Challenge by logging either an In-Person Interaction or tagging a Buyer Representation Agreement in your CRM. NO PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER TO WIN.
To get points for your In-Person Interactions:
You will receive one point for adding an in-person interaction into your Compass platform using Performance Tracker or through the CRM on your mobile app. Each in-person interaction counts as 1 point! You may NOT collect or "pool" points with team members. Winners will be chosen individually.
To get points for your Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreements:
At the end of the 100 days we will send you a link to a survey where you will input how many exclusive, 30-day+ agreements you have signed. For the prize winners, we will ask to verify by requesting a copy of those agreements.

How the Contest Will be Judged and Prizes:

At the end of the Challenge, for each participant, Compass will add together that participant’s points to get their total number of points. The top 500 agents who have the highest number of points will be eligible for a prize. Please see below:

Round trip flight and one night in a hotel in NYC for a day of masterminding & executive coaching
Lunch with Leonard Steinberg
Dinner with Robert Reffkin and Benis Reffkin at our home
50 personal email introductions to top agents in your top referral feeder markets to help you build agent referral relationships

For Buyer Representation Agreements:
At the end of the Challenge, for each participant, Compass will add together that participant’s points to get their total number of points. The top 25 agents who have the highest number of points will be eligible for a prize. Please see below:

$2,500 to spend on the Compass Coaching Marketplace
Note: Each Buyer Representation Agreement winner must send us a copy of their Buyer Representation Agreements after the Challenge is completed, in order to be confirmed.
Contest Period: The Contest will begin at 12:00am ET on January 1, 2024, and run through 11:59pm ET on April 9, 2024. (“Contest Period”). Only In-Person Interactions and Buyer Representation Agreements submitted in the Contest Period will be considered for points.
Number of Winners Selected: The potential prize winners in each category will be selected based on each participant’s total number of points in each category: In-Person Interactions and Buyer Representation Agreements. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Contest.
At the end of the Contest Period, 1000 participants will be selected as winners ranking from 1 to 1000 for the In-Person Interactions category and 25 participants will be selected as winners ranking from 1- 25 for the Buyer Representation Agreements category.
Notification of Prize: Winners will be announced and notified by a representative of Compass by email/phone on or about May 1, 2024.
If you are selected as a winner and claim your prize, there may be additional documentation you have to complete.
Expiration of Winnings: Any prize that has a financial value (i.e. $ toward a client appreciation event or Compass Coaching Marketplace funds) must be used by December 31, 2024. Flight and hotel reimbursements for 1st Prize Winners must be submitted by July 31, 2024. Winnings will not roll over to the new year.

Release of Liability: All entrants, by entering into the Challenge hereby agree to release and forever discharge Compass (and their affiliated prize partners), its subsidiaries, agents, officers, employees, affiliates and assigns from any and all rights, claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever, known or unknown, existing or arising in the future resulting from or in any way related to the Challenge
