✈️ Arrival by Air

The closest airports to Erice are Trapani–Birgi Airport (also known as “V. Florio”) and Palermo Airport (Falcone e Borsellino).
From Trapani–Birgi Airport: the drive to Erice is about 26–27 km (≈ 30–35 minutes) by car or taxi.
From Palermo Airport: Erice is about 79–80 km away — the drive takes roughly 1h 15–20 min by car or taxi.

🚗 Transfers from both Palermo and Trapani airports to Erice are organized by the Ettore Majorana Centre.

Make sure you provided detailed information about your flight when registering for the workshop.
A shuttle service will be available from the airport to Erice and back, operating at scheduled times: the driver will hold a sign with the name of the Ettore Majorana Foundation to guide you to the shuttle upon arrival at the airports. A noticeboard at the Foundation's entrance will be updated daily with the departure times for the following day.
Once you arrive in Erice, please go to the Ettore Majorana Centre for registration.
