Kermesse(kɛʀmɛs): - fête, foire, fair, festival
Each June, the PTA organizes the Kermesse International Fair, one of the longest-running traditions at Ecolint. Kermesse is a day of fun, food, music, social impact projects, and community spirit, bringing together students, parents, and staff for a joyful celebration while supporting a good cause. This fun-filled day provides a unique opportunity to raise funds, with 100% of the net proceeds reinvested into our school community. Ten percent of these funds support student-led humanitarian causes and trips, while the remaining 90% are allocated by the PTA Kermesse Grants Committee.

A Special Note on Sustainability
A Special Note on Sustainability
Join us in making the Kermesse International Fair a fun and eco-friendly event! In partnership with Parents 4 the Planet, the La Châtaigneraie PTA is committed to hosting sustainable events to help protect our planet. This year, we’re using rented reusable plates, cups, and cutlery to reduce waste. You can join the effort by:
Bringing Your Own Water Bottle: Stay hydrated and cut down on plastic waste. We will provide several refill stations.
Bringing Reusable TakeAway Containers: There are always too many delicious food options at Kermesse. Plan ahead and bring reusable food containers to take home extra portions of your favorites to enjoy later!
Returning Reusable Items: Drop off rented plates, cutlery, and cups at our designated EcoPoints.
Sorting Waste Correctly: Use the proper bins for food waste, bottles, and other recyclables to keep our event green.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us. We are deeply grateful to each volunteer and attendee. The food, the music, the fun, the art - everything was incredible, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We love ending the year with a grand celebration of our wonderful La Châtaigneraie community.
