The first annual workshop for the ARC Centre of Excellence in Microcombs for Breakthrough Science will be held at the RACV Cape Schanck Resort, 1.5 hours from Melbourne.
The Workshop is being held in the Great Southern Ballroom.

RACV Cape Schanck Resort has many activities for guests to enjoy.
*All activities are to be organised in your free time, the activities listed below are not RMIT organised activities.

COMBS Bus Options:
COMBS will provide return buses to and from the workshop venue. If you are unsure if you selected the shuttle bus option in your registration form please contact Nicci.

Bus from Melbourne city to RACV Cape Schanck Resort - departing from Southern Cross Station at 10am.
Please meet the bus captain (Toby) at the Southern Cross bus terminal by 9:45am. If you are running late please contact Toby (number to be provided via email closer to the date).

Bus from MEL Airport to RACV Cape Schanck Resort - departing the airport at 9:30am. Recommended inbound landing by 8:30am for domestic flights.
Please meet the bus captain (Irina) at Terminal 1 (Qantas) Carousel #3 to meet the bus as a group, if you are running late please contact Irina (number to be provided via email closer to the date).

There will be two poster sessions held on two of the afternoons of the workshop.

Families are invited to all workshop social events. Upgrade costs for the family accommodation option and meals for children and any carers are subsidised by COMBS, please contact the COMBS Centre Coordinator for further information.
We strongly encourage the participation of all members at the workshop, please consider the COMBS carers’ grant to enable you to attend in person.
An onsite creche can be made available for parents who want to bring their children along and can not bring a carer. We will engage with an authorised service provider to care for children during workshop hours if the need arises.
