Leaders have the same properties. Some end up conforming to their environment as water would with a cup or bowl. Yellow Buses and White Fleets go Green, Go Electric! - Going electric? No matter where you are along this route, we’ll provide a vast overview of the intricacies in turning your bus and maintenance fleets to green! Going electric might have its challenges, but it’s all manageable and highly beneficial! Federal and state governments, as well as utility companies, are offering significant incentives for transitioning to zero emission fleets. Primary motives for this change are to reduce harmful pollutants, protect occupants from breathing unhealthy air, and to spur economic growth. We’ll explore the electric transit landscape from a school district perspective presented by an energy and transportation expert. We will discuss key elements for successful electric bus planning and implementation. Topics include potential funding opportunities, incentive and rebate programs, holistic and realistic goal setting, crafting a turnkey and scalable plan, infrastructure needs, and total cost of ownership. Creating Efficient, Sustainable & Resilient Solutions for your Students and Staff - Johnson Controls will be discussing sustainable industry trends as they relate to PK-12 school districts. Our team will inform school districts how they can integrate technology in a variety of ways to assist with energy use benchmarking for compliance with statutory required energy reporting and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. We will also take a deeper dive into a local energy savings project JCI completed with CSU-Pueblo which provided the school with a Net-Zero solar farm for their entire campus.
