The Good Dog Rescue is a passionate, no-shelter non-profit committed to saving dogs from high-kill shelters and placing them into loving foster homes until their forever families come along. Every dog in their care is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and given time to adjust to home life before adoption.
They run a number of programs to make this possible:
Foster care: Because they don’t operate a physical shelter, foster families are the lifeline of their mission.
Volunteer & community involvement: Volunteers help with everything from transport to fundraising to daily dog care.
Free training support: Adopted dogs get access to training sessions to help them succeed in their new homes.
To date, The Good Dog Rescue has saved and rehomed over 1,100 dogs—and counting.
Making Second Chances Possible
At The Good Dog Rescue, every dog’s life matters. Their team works tirelessly to pull dogs from overcrowded shelters, provide them with medical care, and place them into safe, nurturing foster homes. Beyond adoption, they focus on building a strong community of fosters, volunteers, and supporters who believe in giving every dog a fresh start. With each successful adoption, they not only transform a dog’s life but also bring joy and companionship to the families who welcome them.
