There are several opportunities for undergraduate students wishing to pursue an Honors degree or MRes degree, as well as opportunities for PhD students.

Undergraduate Honours Opportunities
If you are an Adelaide University student with:
a strong background in math and physics,
experience in Python, Matlab, or a similar language,
interest in space weather impacts at Earth or,
interest in Mars' ionosphere and habitability

PhD Student Opportunities
If you have completed an undergraduate, Honours, or Masters degree and have:
a strong background in math, physics, geosciences, and data analysis
experience in Python, Matlab, or a similar language,
interest in space weather studies and hazards at Earth,

I strongly recommend that all undergraduate women (or other gender minorities) studying physics, geophysics, or astrophysics, attend an APS Conference for Undergraduate Conferences for Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics.
Prof. Anne Sheehan maintains an excellent list of opportunities for students in geosciences / planetary sciences-- check it out under the "Student Opportunities" section of her website. The opportunities on her list include internships, scholarships, and fellowships for both undergraduates and graduate students.
