Dr. Neesha R. Schnepf

I pursue research questions related to planetary magnetic fields, natural hazards ranging from tsunamis to space weather, and planetary exploration-- both here at Earth and beyond. Learn more about my research work by checking out my research topics, publications, cv, or Google scholar profile. 

I am currently a research scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. In October 2025, I am starting a Research Fellow position at Adelaide University in South Australia.

As a biracial & queer woman in geo/space-physics, I care about initiatives in diversity, equity & inclusion, as well as mentoring. I believe that trying to "work hard and be nice" goes a long way.

In 2026, I hope to update my "For Students" page and "For Postdocs" page-- these pages have been on hiatus due to all the transitions and turbulence of this year.
