We are a SASE chapter in University of Colorado at Boulder. SASE is dedicated to the advancement of Asian heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment so that they can achieve their full career potential. In addition to professional development, SASE also encourages members to contribute to the enhancement of the communities in which they live.
For Boulder particularly, we focus on minimizing our environmental impact to preserve the natural surrounding that makes our campus unique. We are also close sponsored by The BOLD Center and its affiliates, which gives us close relationship with local tech companies.

The Procter & Gamble Company saw the opportunity to improve the recruiting, retention and development of Asian heritage scientists and engineers via a nationally recognized technical organization with student chapters on college campuses. In 2007-08 P&G provided the initial membership contribution to establish SASE as a 501(c)3 organization. Our SASE Chapter works with SASE National to plan regional wide events such as the West Mountain Regional Conferences.
The BOLD Center is part of the College of Engineering and Applied Science’s commitment to creating a diverse environment where all engineering students are welcome, and where students who are traditionally underrepresented in engineering—women, underrepresented minorities—are empowered to achieve their dreams. Our programs promote the recruitment, retention, and development of engineering students at CU Boulder, and equip them for success through graduation and beyond.
