Guitar is offered as an elective to all students at Cresthill. Students will start by learning parts of the guitar, how to tune strings, where to fret notes, and how to play basic chords. by the end of the class, students will learn a song of their choice using the skills they have developed over the course of the semester. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: tunings, open and barre chords, soloing, improvisation, songwriting, and song form.
