Hoy hemos vivido nuestro quinto y último día de la movilidad en España (Ciudad Real) para griegos, turcos y españoles. Hemos disfrutado de música tradicional, bailes y comida típica en un ambiente muy agradable.

Se ha hecho entrega de los diplomas al equipo turco en las instalaciones del centro educativo en la última visita por parte de ambos grupos al colegio. 

Después, a media mañana, nos hemos acercado a las instalaciones de la Granja Orea a escasos kilómetros del Colegio Santo Tomás para instalar los hoteles de insectos y celebrar la ceremonia de clausura.

La Granja Orea ha servido de escenario para el desarrollo de las últimas actividades programadas en la planificación de la movilidad. 

Nada más llegar, hemos realizado la visita obligada por toda la granja para disfrutar de la naturaleza y la cercanía con los distintos tipos de animales que allí se encuentran.

Luego, la música ha empezado a sonar para comenzar con la segunda parte de la entrega de los diplomas a nuestros compañeros turcos. Hemos bailado, hemos entregado los diplomas y nos hemos dedicado unos discursos enternecedores. 

Y entre bailes, y conversaciones ha llegado la hora del almuerzo donde hemos degustado unos embutidos y quesos de la zona, y unas satenes de las típicas migas manchegas. 

Nos hemos unido : alumnado , familias y profesores y hemos concluido calificando la experiencia de enriquecedora.

Today we have experienced our fifth and last day of mobility in Spain (Ciudad Real) for Greeks, Turks and Spaniards. We enjoyed traditional music, dances and typical food in a very nice atmosphere.

Diplomas were presented to the Turkish team at school during the last visit of both groups to the school.

Then, mid-morning, we went to the facilities of the Orea Farm, a few kilometres from the Santo Tomás School, to set up the insect hotels and celebrate the closing ceremony.

The Granja Orea has served as the setting for the development of the last activities programmed in the mobility planning.

As soon as we arrived, we made the obligatory visit around the farm to enjoy the nature and the proximity to the different types of animals found there.

Then the music started to play to start the second part of the presentation of diplomas to our Turkish colleagues. We danced, handed out the diplomas and made emotional speeches to each other.

And between dances and conversations, it was time for lunch, where we tasted some cold meats and cheeses from the area, and some satays of the typical "migas manchegas" (fried breadcrumbs).

We have joined together: students, families and teachers and we have concluded by describing the experience as enriching.

En el cuarto día de inmersión en nuestra cultura y centro educativo los alumnos David, Jesús, Clara y Marta junto a sus compañeros griegos y turcos permanecen en el stand ERASMUS+ que han preparado para la exposición en la feria.

En dicho stand han preparado un mapa de Europa con la identificación y localización de los tres países visitantes en esta experiencia "Your nature is children's future" además de servir como expositor del resultado final de los tres hoteles de insectos de gran tamaño que han estado preparando durante las jornadas anteriores.

Se ha inaugurado la feria con la visita de la concejala de Sostenibilidad y Agenda 2030 del Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Real, Mariana Boadella. El director y miembro del equipo de profesores de Erasmus+ ha acompañado a la concejala en el paseo al rededor de todas las experiencias científicas y stand que nuestros alumnos han preparado para la ocasión y también se han detenido en nuestro stand "ERASMUS+" . 

Los chicos y chicas han pasado la jornada en el stand explicando en los distintos idiomas a los profesores, alumnos y familias que se han interesado por conocer las estructuras creadas y el "corner" internacional. 

Han terminado la jornada en el colegio bien entrada la tarde, y después se han ido todos juntos a disfrutar de una cena en el centro de la ciudad y de algún salón recreativo donde han jugado a los bolos y han estrechado lazos que volverán a reforzar en la siguiente visita.

On the fourth day of immersion in our culture and educational centre, students David, Jesús, Clara and Marta together with their Greek and Turkish classmates remain at the ERASMUS+ stand that they have prepared for the exhibition at the fair.

In this stand they have prepared a map of Europe with the identification and location of the three visiting countries in this experience "Your nature is children's future" as well as serving as a display of the final result of the three large insect hotels that they have been preparing during the previous days.

The fair was inaugurated with the visit of the Councillor for Sustainability and Agenda 2030 of the City Council of Ciudad Real, Mariana Boadella. The director and member of the Erasmus+ teachers team accompanied the councillor in the walk around all the scientific experiences and stands that our students have prepared for the occasion and also stopped at our stand "ERASMUS+".

The boys and girls spent the day at the stand explaining in different languages to the teachers, pupils and families who were interested in learning about the structures created and the international "corner".

They finished the day at the school late in the afternoon, and then they all went together to enjoy a dinner in the city centre and a bowling alley where they played bowling and strengthened their bonds, which will be reinforced during the next visit.

En el tercer de día dentro de nuestras actividades programadas le ha tocado el turno a la ciudad anfitriona.

En ella hemos realizado distintas actividades a lo largo de toda la jornada. Desde la plantación de tres árboles, hasta la visita guiada por la ciudad pasando por la elaboración de unos hoteles de insectos que colocaremos en la ceremonia de cierre el próximo viernes.

Hemos empezado el día junto al concejal de Mantenimiento e Infraestructuras Casimiro Pastor en la Vía Verde de Ciudad Real, ubicación muy cercana a las instalaciones del centro donde los grupos de los tres países hemos disfrutado de la plantación de tres árboles para celebrar el día Mundial del Agua y visibilizar de la importancia del mantenimiento y cuidado de la naturaleza.

Siguiendo con ese orden de importancia, hemos terminado la mañana colaborando en la fabricación de unos geniales hoteles de insectos trabajando conjuntamente en el taller del centro con todo lo recolectado en nuestro primer contacto con la naturaleza y el entorno el pasado lunes. 

Después de un pequeño descanso para reponer fuerzas hemos pasado gran parte de la tarde dando un paseo por Ciudad Real acompañado de un guía especializado quien nos ha explicado cada uno de los rincones más emblemáticos de la Ciudad Real, y no solamente los compañeros extranjeros sino los propios alumnos, familiares y profesores hemos quedado fascinados con datos curiosos e historias que no conocíamos de nuestra ciudad.

On the third day of our programmed activities, it was the turn of the host city.

There we carried out different activities throughout the day. From the planting of three trees, to the guided tour of the city and the elaboration of insect hotels that we will place in the closing ceremony next Friday.

We started the day with the councillor for Maintenance and Infrastructures Casimiro Pastor in the Vía Verde de Ciudad Real, a location very close to the centre's facilities, where the groups from the three countries enjoyed planting three trees to celebrate World Water Day and to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining and caring for nature.

Continuing with this order of importance, we finished the morning collaborating in the making of some great insect hotels by working together in the centre's workshop with everything we collected in our first contact with nature and the environment last Monday.

After a short break to regain strength we spent most of the afternoon walking around Ciudad Real accompanied by a specialised guide who explained each of the most emblematic corners of Ciudad Real, and not only the foreign students but also the students themselves, their families and teachers were fascinated with curious facts and stories that we didn't know about our city.

En el segundo de día dentro de nuestras actividades programadas estaba la visita a Toledo, capital de Castilla La Mancha.

Hemos realizado el trayecto en autobús, desde Ciudad Real hasta Toledo donde nos esperaba un guía angloparlante para explicarlos los lugares más emblemáticos de la Ciudad. 

Griegos, turcos  y españoles hemos caminado dando un agradable paseo por sus magníficas calles, conociendo su historia, además de alguna leyenda y hemos terminado el paseo en la plaza de Zocodover. Una vez allí, hemos comido en un bar cercano donde habíamos reservado una comida con platos típicos de España, como las croquetas o la ración de queso manchego, además de las carcamusas toledanas.

La segunda parte de la jornada, por la tarde, volviendo hacia Ciudad Real, nos hemos desviado hasta llegar a Consuegra donde nos hemos como protagonistas de las aventuras del ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha viendo de cerca los famosos molinos de viento. (Día 2)

On the second day, our programmed activities included a visit to Toledo, the capital of Castilla La Mancha.

We travelled by bus from Ciudad Real to Toledo, where an English-speaking guide was waiting for us to explain the most emblematic places in the city.

Greeks, Turks and Spaniards took a pleasant stroll through its magnificent streets, learning about its history, as well as some legends, and we ended the walk in the Plaza de Zocodover. Once there, we had lunch in a nearby bar where we had booked a meal with typical Spanish dishes, such as croquettes or a portion of Manchego cheese, as well as the "carcamusas toledanas".

The second part of the day, in the afternoon, returning to Ciudad Real, we took a detour to Consuegra, where we were like the protagonists of the adventures of the ingenious nobleman Don Quixote de la Mancha, seeing the famous windmills up close (Day 2).

Después de la acogida por parte de las familias y los profesores el domingo por la tarde, el lunes 20 de marzo recibimos a los compañeros de proyecto turcos y griegos en el colegio.

Mantuvimos una reunión de presentación del centro, del sistema educativo español y una conversación sobre nuestros países de procedencia. 

Después visitamos las instalaciones del colegio, nos organizamos y fuimos a "La Atalaya" en Ciudad Real, donde desarrollamos las distintas actividades y rituales en la naturaleza y nos dio tiempo a tomar un pequeño almuerzo juntos. 

La segunda parte de la jornada, por la tarde, todos juntos además de las familias de los alumnos visitamos Almagro y todos pasamos un rato agradable paseando por los lugares emblemáticos del pueblo y compartiendo risas y confidencias. (Día 1)

After the welcome by the families and teachers on Sunday afternoon, on Monday we welcomed the Turkish and Greek project partners at the school.

We had a meeting to present the centre, the Spanish education system and a conversation about our countries of origin.

Afterwards we visited the school facilities, got organised and went to "La Atalaya" in Ciudad Real, where we carried out the different activities and rituals in nature and had time to have a small lunch together.

The second part of the day, in the afternoon, we all visited Almagro together, as well as the families of the students, and we all spent a pleasant time walking around the emblematic places of the town and sharing laughs and confidences. (Day 1)

Cristina, Paco y Juan mantienen una reunión de coordinación con los alumnos para dar forma a las actividades que se realizarán en la visita de nuestros compañeros griegos y turcos.  

Compartir experiencias sobre la planificación y desarrollo exhausitstivo de las actividades es crea un vínculo de trabajo y comienza la experiencia conjunta. 

Cristina, Paco and Juan hold a coordination meeting with the students to shape the activities to be carried out during the visit of our Greek and Turkish colleagues.  

Sharing experiences about planning and comprehensive development of the activities creates a working link and the joint experience begins.
