MOTIVATIONAL ACTIVITY

What a great surprise! Even before we knew what project we were going to work on, our teachers surprised us with a caveman show. We saw how strange they were, the language with which they communicated, how they ate and how they painted the cave paintings.

THE CROODS

The following day we watched the film "The Croods" and while we were watching it, we had to answer some questions from a worksheet and paste it in out notebook.

CAVE MAKING ACTIVITY

Once we organised our ideas about prehistory into three different periods, we had to recreate the life in prehistory with some materials the teachers gave us. Here are some of the finished products of our class.

PREHISTORIC SONGS

In order to develop most of our multiple intelligences, we learnt and sang some song related to the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Metal Age and Altamira. The last one is so catchy!

GOOGLE SLIDE LEARNING SESSION AND REVIEW

During this session, groups were given an envelope with strips of vocabulary that they spread out on their table. Then, the teacher read information about prehistory and students had to pay attention and listen actively. Once they heard the teacher read out the information, they had to quickly grab the strips of vocabulary. The students with most vocabulary strips won the game!

Then students learned how to create a cool and professional google slide! This way, they would be ready for their final product.
