CROSSING BORDERS WITH DISTANCE EDUCATION

Welcome to the EduCross Project!

“Crossing Borders with distance education – EduCross” is an Erasmus+ project aimed at improving students' language skills and digital competences through innovative online learning environments funded by the ERASMUS+ program, KA2 - Schools. The project number is 2023-1-ES01-KA210-SCH-000166155 and it was granted and co-funded by the European Union with 60.000€. 

Project duration: October 2, 2023 - April 1, 2025

The goal of EduCross is to enhance communication abilities, promote cultural understanding, and develop key competences for the 21st century. 

About us

EduCross is a collaborative project that brings together schools and organizations from Spain, Turkey, Poland, and Slovenia. Our main objectives are:

• Improve students' language skills, especially speaking proficiency

• Enhance digital competences and the use of online learning platforms

• Promote inclusion and diversity in education

• Develop key competences for lifelong learning

• Create innovative teaching methods combining language learning with sports, dance, and digital tools

Our project focuses on supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those with special needs, refugees, and those affected by natural disasters. Through transnational cooperation and the use of modern technologies, we aim to create equal opportunities for all learners.

Consortium

Our project brings together four partner organizations:

1. Esplai Animacions S.L. (Spain) - Coordinator
   A leading educational SME specializing in innovative teaching methodologies and youth engagement programs, with expertise in digital learning platforms 

2. Cedide Abalıoğlu Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi (Turkey)
   A secondary school renowned for multilingual education and international project participation, fostering cultural exchange and language proficiency 

3. Zespol Szkol Nr 3 im. Walentego Lipinskiego i Mateusza Beksinskiego w Sanoku (Poland)
   A school complex excelling in technology-integrated education and tailored support for disadvantaged learners, including refugees and students with special needs .

4. PROMOB Institute NGO (Slovenia)
   A non-profit organization advancing sustainable mobility and community development in the Karst region through educational and social initiatives 

LTTAs (Learning, Teaching, Training Activities)

Our project includes several transnational meetings and learning activities:

1. Learning Teaching Training Activity in Slovenia (April 2024)
   Focus: Online language learning platforms and digital tools

2. Learning Teaching Training Activity in Spain (September 2024)
   Focus: Innovative pedagogical practices and cultural exchange

3. Learning Teaching Training Activity in Turkey (November 2024)
   Focus: Inclusion strategies and supporting disadvantaged students

4. Learning Teaching Training Activity and Closing meeting in Poland (March 2025)
   Focus: Project evaluation and dissemination of results

Throughout these activities, participants will engage in workshops, cultural visits, and collaborative tasks to develop their skills and create project outputs.
