Workers’ Compensation Information
All injuries occurring on school or district property should be reported to a building administrator within 24-48 hours. If you are injured at work or experience a re-occurrence of a prior workplace injury, please follow these important steps to ensure proper claim management:
Reporting an Injury
Report the injury immediately to your supervisor, school nurse, or school administrator.
Complete a "Workers Compensation Reporting Worksheet." Download the completed form, and email to Travelers at first.report@travelers.com (as indicated on the form). The form can be completed either by the staff member, or a school administrator or school nurse can assist you.
Please include (1) your supervisor, (2) your building Office Professional, and (3) Human Resources (hr@colchesterct.org) in your email submission of the form
