The FAFSA is a form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. The FAFSA opens for seniors starting December 2024, and it is FREE to complete.
Some colleges require students to complete the CSS Profile in conjunction with the FAFSA. Unlike the FAFSA, students must pay to complete the CSS Profile (initial application is $25, additional reports are $16).
