Listening (25%):

Higher tier paper - 45 mins, 50 marks

Foundation tier paper - 35 mins, 40 marks

Reading (25%):

Higher tier paper - 60 mins, 60 marks

Foundation tier paper - 45 mins, 60 marks

Writing (25%):

Higher tier paper - 1 hr 15 mins, 60 marks

Foundation tier paper - 60 mins, 50 marks

Speaking (25%):  

Non-exam assessment

Higher tier paper - 10 to 12 minutes (+ preparation time), 60 marks

Foundation tier paper - 7 to 9 minutes (+ preparation time), 60 marks
