The longer school day is a particular feature of the school, with pupils having access to sessions before and after formal lesson times. A key part of our vision is to broaden horizons through offering a full range of extra-curricular activities. All pupils have access to two free activities a week and we have many other chargeable external clubs on offer.
Wrap around care
ACE Kids are Ofsted-registered activity experts and the provider of wraparound care at our school. With over 25 years’ experience in the active childcare industry, ACE Kids create engaging, imaginative and energetic experiences that inspire children to have fun, learn more and move more.
All ACE Kids sessions are led by fully qualified, DBS-checked staff, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child. Their unique Fun, Learn and Move approach combines active play, creativity and learning, from sports to arts and crafts, keeping children engaged and active throughout the day. Children enjoy themed activities that capture their imagination and encourage exploration, as well as a healthy snack during each session.
ACE KIDS - Lower School - R-2
ACE KIDS - Upper Junior - Main School - 3-6
The school offers an exciting range of extra-curricular activities after school each day free of charge to all pupils. In addition to this, the senior department has a timetabled activities afternoon on a Friday to ensure secondary students take the opportunity to benefit from the wide range of experiences on offer. Activities change termly and are age appropriate. (Please note Junior clubs do not run in the first and last week of each term). Typical examples include the following:
