• Equitable Contributions: Ensure your content treats all individuals fairly, avoiding biases related to race, gender, age, or other personal characteristics.​

• Objective Evaluations: Provide balanced assessments of AI tools, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement.​ Avoid sharing misleading, exaggerated, or false claims about AI tools. 

•  Uphold Academic Integrity: Do not promote or share AI tools that encourage academic dishonesty such as plagiarism or cheating
  
  

2. Reliability and Safety

• Accurate Information: Share truthful and well-researched insights to maintain the platform's credibility.​

• Safe Practices: Avoid recommending AI tools or methods that could compromise user safety or well-being.​
  
  

3. Privacy and Security

• Protect Sensitive Data: Do not disclose personal or confidential information about yourself, students, or colleagues.​

• Secure Sharing: Ensure that any shared resources or links are from trustworthy sources free from security threats.​
  
  

4. Inclusiveness

• Welcoming Environment: Encourage participation from individuals of all backgrounds and expertise levels.​

• Accessible Content: Strive to make your contributions understandable and accessible to everyone, considering diverse needs and perspectives.​

• Respect Diverse Perspectives: Recognize that different educators have different teaching styles, needs and contexts. Be open to engage in discussions with curiosity and respect.  
  
  

5. Transparency

• Clear Authorship: Use your real name or a consistent pseudonym to build trust within the community.​

• Respect Intellectual Property: Give credit and acknowledge original author when referencing someone else's work, whether it is research, blog posts, or teaching materials. 

• Disclosure: Reveal any affiliations or potential conflicts of interest related to the AI tools or organizations you discuss.​
  
  

6. Accountability

• Responsibility for Content: Stand by your contributions and be prepared to engage in constructive discussions about them.​ Clearly differentiate between facts, opinions, and personal experiences. 

• Constructive and Collaborative Discussions: Provide actionable insights -- describe specific use cases, outcomes and any challenges faced. Engage in constructive criticism by suggesting improvements or alternatives than dismissing tools outright. 

• Report Misconduct: If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, promptly report it to the moderators.​
