As a retired physician of Internal Medicine (University of Toronto), I have a strong background in human physiology and the psychosocial determinants of health. This has serve me well in my new work path as a health & fitness coach. I guide clients toward better life habits through education, empowerment and greater self-awareness. I am a passionate speaker on the concept of building the foundation of good lifestyle habits and how to effectively change your habits for better energy, vitality and health. I am currently self-employed at Coach McInnes, and working on an e-learning video series called ”Coach Yourself to Better Health".
I am a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach who works with clients at all stages of their rehab and beyond. I specialize in weight loss, endurance training, postural correction and performance enhancement. My philosophy is that exercise is medicine.
