In order for students to stay pace with the daily learning objectives and establish the healthy work habits necessary for moving onto intermediate school, all sixth grade teachers reserve the right not to issue credit for late work unless there is an illness, excused absence, or reported technical difficulty on the day the assignment is due. This policy is in place to keep students focused on current assignments and avoid unnecessary stress for students that may find it difficult to catch up. Any exceptions to this policy will be handled on a case by case basis at the sixth grade teacher's discretion.
