Program Fee:
The cost of University of Glasgow tuition, housing, group excursions, international health insurance, airport transfer, and CNU faculty on-site in Glasgow.
Tuition Fee:
3 credits of CNU tuition based on in-state or out-of-state status. This fee will be loaded to the student account along with the program fee.
Costs for Spring 2024
Program Fee: $14,900 plus 3 credits of tuition
Tuition Fee for 3 CNU credits:
In-State = $1389
Out of State = $3171
Out-of-Pocket Expenses
Meals (kitchen provided in housing to prepare meals)
Flight (U.S. to Glasgow and return)
Personal Expenses (travel, social activities, etc.)
COVID-19 Testing (as needed)

Funding the Program
Scholarships
Some scholarship funding may be available for eligible students. Students accepted to the Scotland program should complete this Study Abroad Scholarship Application and provide it to the Financial Aid Office (finaid@cnu.edu). The deadline for submission for Fall Scotland Program is April 1st. The deadline for submission for Spring Scotland Program is October 15th. Students who receive the Federal Pell Grant should contact the study abroad office in order to apply for the national Gilman Scholarship. Gilman deadlines are in October and March of each year.
Virginia Pre-Pay
Students and families who desire to utilize VA529 Pre-pay or "American Funds" should contact the study abroad office for more information about the process and where to send the VA529 check.
CNU Payment Plan
Students and families interested in utilizing the CNU Payment Plan should contact the Cash Services Team at 757-594-7042 after acceptance to the program.
GI Bill & Veteran Programs
Students and families interested in utilizing GI Bill or Veterans funds should contact Ms. Tia Crowder (tia.crowder@cnu.edu), Veteran Affairs Coordinator, in the Office of the Registrar.
