MS Music Course Options
The CNG Middle School believes that all students should participate and perform in a music course. This school year, all students will select one of the following band, choir or ensemble options for their schedule.
Please note:
All students are required to perform in a band, choir or ensemble class
Band and choir have no piano, guitar, or bass options. In band, students will be able to choose an instrument that is similar to one of those if desired. (Ex. mallet percussion is similar to piano)
Percussion (drums, mallets, auxiliary drums) is offered in Band class, however, students will have to audition and/or have a discussion with the teacher about playing those instruments.
Ensemble classes (Gr 8 only) will explore music using percussion, ukulele, piano, and singing.
