Gifted and Talented Identification

CMSD #12 adheres to the Colorado State Guidelines for identifying students as gifted and/or talented with a general intellectual ability or specific academic or talent aptitude. Gifted and Talented Education at Broadmoor Elementary

Gifted and Talented Students meet together based on their areas of identification such as math or ELA (English/Language Arts). In addition, students also participate in activities that address the unique needs of gifted learners in the social/emotional area. Enrichments may be created or drawn from the resources below:

Gifted and Talented Organizations, especially locally, can provide opportunities for support and connection with other parents of gifted students, in addition to providing your gifted student with a gifted community.
