Advanced Math Curriculum
The 6th grade Advanced Math class utilizes Glencoe Math Course 2 for instruction. Course 2 is the typical math level taught in 7th grade. The rigor and expectations for the class are high. ALEKS, an online instructional supplemental, provides additional support and enrichment to balance instruction.

Advanced Math Placement
Placement in the 6th grade Advanced Math class is determined by the creation of a Body of Evidence including test scores from Scantron Math, CMAS Math, CogAT, Glencoe Placement Tests and teacher recommendations.
