Welcome to Mrs. Cipiti's Classroom Website!
I have been teaching since 1998 where I started my career in North Carolina as a 7th grade Science teacher, after student teaching for a 5th grade classroom in Beachwood School District in Ohio. After moving to Colorado, I was a Reading Specialist at Carson Middle School for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Craving my own classroom at elementary age, I moved to Pinon Valley Elementary School to teach 5th grade in Cheyenne Mountain School District. After eight years in the classroom, I transferred to being a Gifted and Talented Learning Interventionist at Pinon Valley Elementary and then moved to Cheyenne Mountain Elementary where I have been teaching since 2009.
Meanwhile, I married a man I met at my preschool in Bainbridge, Ohio (at Mrs. Collin's Nursery School), moved to Colorado, and had three children. Our family spends time rock climbing in Canyon City, rafting down the Arkansas River, backpacking anywhere, playing cards, and having movie night with pizza or popcorn.
I enjoy photography, hiking, scrapbooking, journaling, and eating ice cream (I also have a weakness for Hot Tamales). Every December I complete a Daily December scrapbook, and any chance I get, I sneak off to the mountains with girlfriends to create and giggle.
I look forward to another amazing year at Cheyenne Mountain Elementary!
