Hail Formation Activity - Group Work
* Today, let's review our unit question.
"Why does a lot of hail, rain, or snow fall at some times and not others?"
Today, you and your group are going to create a diagram/drawing detailing all that is needed in order for hail to form.
Think about all that we have learned. No notes or handouts allowed!
*You are going to make a drawing in which your goal is to teach someone about hail and why it forms.
*Your drawing/diagram should include as much detail as possible to teach people about the formation of hail. Key words should be used and labeled accordingly.
The focus of the day is to be a "communicator". A communicator is a student who expresses their ideas in various ways, including drawing, writing and speaking. In addition, a communicator is someone who actively listens to others and responds to another person in an empathetic and compassionate way.
Here is our worksheet we will be using.

Welcome to Little Alchemy!
Intro to the program! Little Alchemy is a deceptively simple game that you can play on the computer or any Android or Apple device. It starts out with four elements: air, earth, fire, and water. You combine these to make various different elements which increase in complexity as you go!
Try doing it by yourself! That is the fun and challenge!
Go HERE to get started!!!
HINT: Right click on an object to find out what it is made up!
HINT: Once an object is underlined, it cannot be combined with anything else.
