Clothing
PE clothing – school colours.
Staffing
1 team manager per team.
Weather
No cancellation.
Food
Teams and players must bring their own food.
Teams
1 boys and 1 girls, per school.
Rules
All games will be 15 minute halves during pool play, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
Halftime 2-minute interval.
No time outs.
5 A-side (one of whom is the goalkeeper) – Maximum of 10 registered players per team. Rolling substitutions apply.
Futsal match ball will be provided for all matches.
All restarts of have 4 seconds on the referee's count.
Restarts of play on the floor apart from keeper who can roll or throw the ball.
Once the keeper plays the ball, the ball cannot be returned to the keeper until touched by the opposition.
Games will be kept to time by the Timekeeper – no stoppage time.
Court size – length 30 metres and width 15 metres.
Goal size – 3 x 2 metres.
Teams to provide their own first aid kit.
ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR NON-MARKING FOOTWEAR
Drawn Game Rules
Drawn games will be recorded as such, unless they are in a significant semi-final / final.
In the event a major semi-final / final is drawn, a penalty shootout will take place.
A shootout will be run in accordance with penalty kick guidelines above.
Teams must nominate five different players to take a shot at goal. The winner is determined by the team with the most goals scored out of five attempts.
If, after five attempts, the game is still drawn, sudden death will occur, and the first team to score when their opponent doesn’t, will win.
