Rules
1. A chess clock of fifteen minutes will be used. A player loses the game when their time runs out (the game is a draw if the opponent has only a Bishop or only Knights besides the King). The clock will be put on the right-hand side of the black player. Players must use the same hand to play and press the clock.
2. Touch-move and touch-take rules will be enforced. Players must touch the King first when castling. They must say “I adjust” before adjusting pieces.
3. No loud talking during the games. A player can watch others’ games after finishing their round but must stay at an arm’s distance from the players. Spectators cannot give or take advice.
4. Sit at the designated table promptly. The opponent does not need to wait for you and can start the chess clock when they are told to do so by the Tournament Organiser.
5. Upon finishing the game, set up the chessboard and reset the clock (turn it off and on) before leaving the table.
6. Enjoy the game!! - Thank your opponent for the game when you win. Congratulate your opponent when you lose.
