CMS Honors Chorus

• Students MUST attend the all day rehearsal and the performance on February 15th.
• Students MUST be available for rehearsals select mornings at 8am. They will be required to practice at home.
• Rehearsal Saturday, February 15th, from 8:00 am-4:00 pm
• Performance Saturday, February 15th at 4:00 pm
• Rehearsal and the Performance will both be held at University City United Methodist Church at 3835 West W.T. Harris Blvd.
• Students must memorize all songs to be performed at the concert. I will assist them at school, but students are responsible for practicing at home with the recordings and sheet music. Because of the time and investment, any student not adequately prepared will not be allowed to participate.
• Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from all rehearsals at school and to and from University City United Methodist Church on February 15, 2020. You may arrange car pool at your convenience.
• Students will need to bring their Honors Chorus music and a bag lunch (including a drink). Dress comfortably in case the room is too cold or too hot, and bring a bottle of water.
• Students will need to pack black pants/skirts (please no yoga pants or leggings) and black shoes to wear with their Honors Chorus T-shirts. All students will receive their t-shirts at the Saturday rehearsal. Please no flip flops or tall heels for the safety of our students as we will be on risers.
• Students will be photographed, and audio/videotaped on the performance for distribution to the general public. CDs and DVDs will be available to purchase at the performance.
• Video recording is prohibited by law. Anyone that is seen using their personal video camera, iPad, or phone, will be asked to put them away.
