Google Apps for Education

GAFE allows us to access many apps, extensions and sites

CMS Teachers have access to the following just by being a staff member in the district

Google Drive: You can link any document from Google Drive to your website

• • Google Drive stores all of your sheets, docs, slideshows, Classroom Folders, and your Site documents

  • Use the insert button to the right of this page to insert your Drive data

Google Classroom: This is not supported in CMS anymore.

Google Sheets: Sheets is a spreadsheet with many tools embedded.

• Sorting, charts, functions and drawings are some of the tools to use inside Sheets

• A great add-on for sheets is Flubaroo...this will automatically grade your assessments

Google Calendar: Calendar is a great format to keep your students organized as well as your self!

• Teachers can set due dates (also link the classroom assignments to Calendar), appointments, reminders and so much more.

• Calendar can be embedded in your web page also to create a sign up for an event, object, or a room.

  • Use appointment slots to set up sign up times.

Google Keep: Use Keep as your place to keep lists

• Share it with other teachers or students

• Use it as a reminder or sticky notes.
