ENROLLMENT TIPS
Hopewell High School welcomes hundreds of new students each year. We want your enrollment to go as smoothly and quickly as possible. Things go faster when you have all of the needed items at the time of your enrollment at Hopewell. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we try to help all students and families.
Confirm your attendance zone before you contact Hopewell. Use this tool to confirm Hopewell is your home school.
Review the CMS Parent/Student Handbook for any questions you have about attending school, school rules, etc.
For students with IEPs or 504 Plans, it is very helpful if you bring copies of your most recent plan when you enroll at Hopewell (though it is not required).
Complete your enrollment form before you arrive through the www.cmsk12.org/student-planning-placement-programs/registration
Provide an official copy of the transcript (or report card) from the student's most recent school if possible.
Understand the student's grade level. The student's grade level may change from your last school because CMS determines grade level based on 9th-grade entry year and number of credits.
Learn about graduation requirements before you arrive. Students will take eight classes with the focus on courses required for graduation.
