According to Rule 12 in the CMS Code of Student Conduct, the use of a motor vehicle on campus is a privilege that may be limited or revoked at any time. Any school administrator may revoke or suspend a student’s driving/parking privilege or assign financial penalties as a result of but not limited to the following:
Tardiness to class or school (5 or more unexcused tardies)
Parking in unassigned or no parking area
Failure to follow directions of parking lot supervisors
Repeated parking and/or moving violations
Loitering in parking lots during or between classes
Reckless driving, speeding (more than 10mph) or any unsafe movement
Leaving campus without permission or taking other students off campus when they did not have permission
Moving vehicles during the school day without valid permission
Distributing assigned parking permit to students without parking permits or students assigned a different parking space
Moving or altering parking barricades/cones
Repeated violations of the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
