What is IB?
Randolph IB Program:
All of our courses are Honors level (except electives)
IB MYP aims to cultivate well-rounded, internationally-minded individuals who are prepared to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
Holistic Education: IB MYP emphasizes holistic development, addressing not only academics but also personal growth, creativity, and global awareness.
Interdisciplinary Learning: Students explore connections between subjects through interdisciplinary units, fostering a deeper understanding of concepts.
Approach to Learning (ATL) Skills: IB MYP emphasizes the development of skills such as critical thinking, communication, and self-management, which are crucial for success in further education and life beyond school.
Global Perspective: The program promotes an understanding of global issues and encourages students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who contribute positively to their communities.
Community Service (passing is required to continue in the IB program)
6-7th Graders are required to complete TWO Service As Action
8th Grade has a year-long Community Project
Note: Parental involvement may be required as some organizations do not allow minors without adult supervision.
World Language (passing is required to continue in the IB program)
Spanish, Latin, or French
