(required to continue in the IB program including passing their language course)
- see the Continuation Requirements Tab
All Middle Years Program students in CMS are required to participate in Service as Action in order to maintain their magnet seat for the following school year. Over the calendar year, students are to participate in activities inside/outside of school that further their globally conscious development by giving back to our Charlotte community. This service element of Randolph's IB program is also part of the Middle Years Program philosophy of Service as Action.
You may count activities through your place of worship, but you may not count activities that involve teaching your religion or evangelizing others about your religion. (For example, a service project with your church’s youth group would count, but participating in a religious service would not count.)
The project will be communicated via various methods: announcements, Canvas, ParentSquare, Weekly Grade Level Newsletters, and this site.
