The POB National Technical Honors Society-NTHS is a student organization that recognizes and encourages higher scholastic achievement in career technology education, cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps top students find success in today’s highly competitive workplace.

Desire to operate with a service and scholarship attitude
Pursue a career in your choice of technical program
Enrollment in Career Technical Education
unweighted GPA of 3.00 or above
“A/B” average in your CTE Pathway classes
No objection from staff member regarding school code violation
Junior or Senior
All eligible students will get an invitation in their student email along with the application details from Mrs. Patel by end of September. Induction will be the evening of a Thursday in November (TBD). Membership dues are $30.00 for this national charter. NTHS members get a certificate of induction, membership card, tassel, sticker seal for your High school diploma, access to NTHS scholarships and unlimited bragging rights. Members will also be recognized in the graduation program. Besides that colleges prefer NTHS applicants when making selection to their competitive programs.
Once inducted, members must check their emails for NTHS updates and complete annual community service. We occasionally meet as a group during Cardinal period. NTHS members keep their status both in junior and senior year as long as they maintain their eligibility. They are expected to complete one service project each semester, and remain in good academic standing in order to be considered an active member.
