Students in the Extensions curriculum are allowed to remain enrolled in CMS until the school year they turn 22 years old. For example, if their birthday is in October, they can be 21 years old when school starts in August; they turn 22 in October. They can complete the remainder of that school year.
The students in the Extensions classes are working toward a Certificate of Attendance. They walk in the graduation ceremony once at the completion of their four years of high school.
After graduating with their Certificate, they can opt to continue in the Transition program until they age out.
