Attendance and Tardy Policy

Attendance Policy

Attendance- Students are expected to attend school regularly and to come prepared to learn. Because a direct positive correlation exists between student attendance and academic achievement, failure to adhere to the attendance policy will result in disciplinary action including, but not limited to, recovery sessions, parental conferences, failing grade in the course, detention, or suspension from school.

Attendance 10 Day Policy- Students cannot receive credit for a course if they have missed over 10 days in that course.

Tardy Policy:

TARDY POLICY- All students are expected to be in the classroom , that means by the time the bell stops ringing the students entire body must be across the classroom doors’ threshold.when the tardy bell rings, prepared to work. The goal of Harding’s tardy policy is to inspire daily punctuality, instilling it as a valuable life skill for our students.

Students arriving after 7:15 a.m. are required to sign-in at the tardy stations, with the exception of students arriving on late buses. Arrival time of late buses will either be announced or passes will be issued to students. Students who are late to school due to unusual circumstances must be signed in by the parent or guardian.
