Magnet Schools

Northwest School of the Arts is a CMS Magnet School that provides specialized arts instruction for students in grades 6-12. Well known for the arts, they have also become a place of inspiring academic success.

Northwest School of the Arts students will learn to understand and value creativity and they will experience a range of creative and cultural activities across a variety of art forms, both as a participant and an observer. Engagement with the creative and performing arts teaches students to be more self-disciplined, attentive, and better at organizing their busy lives. Through the arts, students find their own voice, the confidence to express their individual creativity, and a connection with the most enduring and significant elements of our individual and collective cultural past.

Audition Required
