Dear Parents,

Happy Friday!

Next week is a full 5 day week, the only one in November!

Field Trips:  Please make sure you have paid for and sent in the permission slips for both Discovery Place and the Raptor Center.  We will be sending home another permission slip soon for a third field trip.

During the School Day, I do not check parent square.  If there is important information I need to know, please try to send it before I receive students which is 8:15.  I don't always get a chance to check Parent Square until my planning time much later in the day.

Field Trips:  We have two field trip permission forms that are are due in asap.  Raptor Center and Discovery Place.  

Harmony Day:  11/15/2024

Every grade level will be performing a song in the gym during this event! Ms. Burrows and the students have been working so hard during the first quarter to learn these songs.  Performance times: 

Musical Theater 5:00

Kindergarten: 5:10

First Grade: 5:40

Second Grade: 6:10

Third Grade: 6:40

4th Grade 7:10

5th Grade 7:40

 We have a special performance from some of our staff and parents at 6:30. We hope to see you there!

Passports went home last week and information was sent home yesterday!

Parents, please continue to ask your child about our Social Contract we created for our class at the beginning of the year. Our Social Contract helps students make good choices, build positive relationships with each other, and create a happy classroom environment!  We have started our 2nd quarter journey to our first celebration. Students who have had three parent contacts about behavior (forms filled out, agenda notes or Parent Square) or have behaved out of the classroom (either placed in someone else's classroom or an office referral) will not be able to attend.  This has been shared in previous newsletter posts and during orientation night.
